Brennan is here!

We are so happy to announce that Brennan James Jackson was born Sunday, November 27, 2011 at 2:59 pm! He weighed 7lbs 14 oz and was 20 in long. The labor and delivery went very well and I am feeling very good, actually pretty much back to normal! He did have low blood sugar, some respiratory problems and they  thought he could possibly have an infection, so he was in the NICU for 3 days. He had multiple tests done including a spinal tap. Monday night he had his first meal and I got to hold him for what felt like the first time. (I did get to hold him, but only about 3 min after I had him, because they had to get him to the nursery because of low blood sugar) His feeding and oxygen tube came out Tuesday morning and he was moved up a level in the NICU. By Tuesday night, his IV was removed and he was transferred back to the newborn nursery! Wednesday morning he had some more blood work done and we had to wait on the results from the spinal tap. Once they found out everything came back clear, we got to go home!! I am so happy to be home with my family. Jimmy's mom brought the girls home later that night and they were absolutely thrilled to see Brennan. The first thing Lexi said was, "Mommy! Brennan's not in your tummy anymore!"  I was so happy to see that they loved their brother already. Eversince we have been home, they have been all over him, lol. They love to hold him and tell him, "it's ok" when he cries. They are amazing! I really thought it would be alot harder than it has been. I think I have already adapted to having three children and I absolutely love it!! :-D Here are some pics from the hospital and when we came home.
