2 Saturday's ago, Nathan came over and he and Jimmy sanded the new section of living room!!
We separated the rooms with plastic so the house didn't get overloaded with sheet rock dust
Lexi, Kenna and Ethan put hats and gloves on because "they were going to the mountain" lol

all done and so smooth.... ready for primer!!!

The next week, I started putting primer on the pantry door, inside the pantry, the dining room wall, the laundry room wall and door. I had to remove a little of the wallpaper off to get where I wanted and then just decided to go ahead and take it off the entire wall. I went ahead and put primer on the whole wall, instead of just the pantry section. I know the wallpaper that is left looks rough, but that will have to wait for the dining room redo. :-)

All done with this section! Hopefully this week, I can finish the other two walls. We aren't going to do the colored paint until we get back from vacation in October, I can't wait!!

What a lot of work but it's looking great! I love doing major home improvement projects. It's always so exciting and rewarding when you are finished. It just makes it good to be home and enjoy your accomplishment.
