New fire pit

We have been wanting to build a fire pit for ages, so we finally did on Veterans day since Jimmy had the day off :-D

Made a sample ring on the floor of Lowe's and bought 36 blocks. I love Brennan's "I don't feel good face," poor boy

I chiseled the lip off (yes, we know the lip is to help with stacking, but we wanted a smooth inside wall), Jimmy dug out our old "pit" and built this new AMAZING, absolutely beautiful new fire pit (with the help of the dogs swimming pool, lol)!!

Can't wait to use it and start our "bonfires" back up again! Yes, you are right, we aren't allowed to burn large yard debris, but we found out we can have a "recreational" fire because they are not regulated whatsoever, so take that Nazi neighbor!!!! 

I am in LOOOOOVE!!!
