Thanksgiving 2013

This Thanksgiving was super exciting because for the first time in 7 years, we hosted the meal at our house, something I've always wanted to do! I borrowed a friends Cricut and made a banner and place cards, set out my fancy china (only used 1 other time since we've been married) and my gold plated silverware. :-) It was such an amazing day! My dad hung out with us into the night, so we had a little bon fire since it was very chilly outside.

I have heard of these machines, but never used one... I officially have this added to my "wish list" :-)

With the HUGE ham bone, I made a crock pot full of black eyes peas with some cornbread on Sunday...
