Valentines Day 2014

I've honestly never been a fan of Valentines Day, I think you should tell one another and show each other love throughout the year. I love that I have a husband who shows me his love all year round with little things here and there :-) We just use it as another "excuse" to go on a date!

With that being said, this Valentines Day was a complete shock but incredibly amazing <3 I decided to surprise Jimmy and he decided to surprise me, without either of us knowing!

I dropped the kids off at my in laws around 3 pm, ran a few errands and when I got home, Jimmy was there. He had a single red rose waiting for me <3

Roses and Tulips are my favorite flowers and I love the meaning of a single red rose...

"A single red rose promises life long devotion and love. The red rose speaks of a love that is unchanging and does not wither away" (roseforlove.com)

We went out to dinner and had such a good time and super yummy food! While we were eating, Jimmy told me I could open up my gift. He had hid it in the zipper pocket of my purse! I got it out and was so excited to see it was some perfume I had been wanting for a while!

I opened the box and turned it over and out fell a Zales box. I was in complete shock! I opened it up to find a ring I had also been seeing for a while and had mentioned to him how much I loved it and the meaning behind it too!

I totally believed him when he said he went to the store and asked for an empty Coach Poppy box to put the Zales box in and they gave it to him, lol.... that little beast :-)

When we got in the truck, he said, "oh yeah, this too." It was the perfume <3

After we left, I surprised him with the news of a kid free night and an overnight stay at our favorite hotel! Who said Valentines Day was only for women, that's so selfish!!!!

What a great Valentines Day that I never expected. I am so in love with this man I am proud to call my husband and am so very thankful for him and how he loves me all the time! I am truly a blessed girl <3
