Makenna's 1 year check up
Well, Kenna had her check up today and her doctor is referring her to a pediatric optometrist for her eyes being crossed. I personally am very sad about this :`( I have always dreaded the thought of my little baby having to wear glasses or wear a patch. However, it does run in Jimmy's side of the family, so I should have known it was coming.... We have joked around and called her our "little cross-eyed girl," but it doesn't seem to be funny anymore. On a good note, the doctor said she is very healthy and she is in the perfect range for her height and weight :-D THAT makes me happy! Also, she had her MMR, Chicken pox, and Hep A vaccines today. So far she is doing great, no side effects! I am very thankful that my girls have never had any bad side effects from their shots. The nurse asked me if I wanted to get both the girls the flu shot. Well, Lexi has received her flu shot for 2 years in a row, however this year they have it combined with the H1N1 vaccine.... I said NO! I don't wanna get involved with that stuff. I guess this year, we will be praying hard that they don't get the flu and if they do, take very good care of them :-)

Aaaaah. I know how it is to wear a patch. I had to wear one for a while when I was little. I have a lazy eye, and today I still have trouble focusing all the time!
