Day off

Since Jimmy works for the government, he had today, MLK day, off. We slept in since we had some friends over after church last night and went to bed super late, then decided (after weeks of talking about it) to thaw out our deep freezer that is in our laundry room. I have slowly been using the last of the food in it and not buying any more, so it was already almost empty.

all emptied out, it was loaded with thick layers of ice

Thankfully it fit through the back door, lol

my laundry room looks so much bigger with it out and we have our second back door available again! Hm, I really like it this way! :-D

Jimmy washed it inside and out because we are going to be sanding down and re-painting the door because it has a ton of rust on it. 

I'll show you what it looks like when it is all nice and pretty!
