Merry Christmas

Just like last year, I have waaaaaay too many pictures from Christmas, so I'm only gonna post a few :-) We thought last year was the best Christmas since we've been married, but we have officially decided, THIS year has been the best so far. We loved being able to spend time with all the family and not have to rush from place to place. How did we do that you ask? Our Christmas routine has changed pretty much every year to try to accommodate all those that want to see us. To make that easier this year, my sister in law and I decided to do their side of the family's "stuff" on Christmas Eve. That worked out so much better!!! We went over and had our BIG Christmas dinner then opened up the gifts from Jimmy's parents and played with the kids and their new stuff. What a great Christmas Eve it turned out to be, no stress, no rushing, no trying to make everyone happy. Ahhhh :-)

*please do not be offended if the gift you got someone is not pictured. We were giving many many amazing things, but I am only going to show the main gifts. We are very thankful for everything, but I do not want to seem like I am bragging in any way.

Nana and all the grandkids

all the Jackson/Colvill family

Lexi got skates

Brennan's rocking horse that plays music when you push his ear

Kenna's skates

The tradition of new pj's... love the camo!!

Jimmy and the kids put together the Hello Kitty gingerbread house :-)

On Christmas day, the kids were so tired that they didn't get up until my dad came over. So we opened up our own family gifts as well as his...

I made a cinnamon roll casserole for breakfast.. YUMMY!!!!

The kids got this 2 story playground, a picnic table and 2 pink chairs from one of our bus family's! Her kids are all grown so she gave it to us :-)

The girls both got new bikes this year. (well, don't tell Makenna, but hers is actually Lexi's old one that we took apart, cleaned and repainted. Hand me downs should be cool too!)

the kids opened up Pawpaws gifts first

my favorite gift from my daddy ♥

Jimmy got me pick grips with a built in laser for my gun, LOVE!!

Jimmy's gift from my dad and I. It is a gas/charcoal combo grill, VERY nice if I say so myself, lol. I can't wait to use it ;-)

of course it wouldn't be complete without the propane and charcoal!

We weren't able to put it together until the next day, but he really likes it, which makes me very happy :-D

gifts from some friends in Maine

Brennan slept in a lot later then the girls, so I helped him with his stuff once he woke up

we love our Pawpaw!!!

For lunch, we went to my adopted parents house, hung out with them for a few hours and exchanged a few gifts. It was nice to have taco's and quesadilla's instead of more "traditional" Christmas food :-)

Granny Nanny made Brennan a camo blanket.. LOVE!! I am so into camo for him :-D
She also made the girls' matching pillow cases, very cute. They are extremely colorful and if you know me, you know I love fun bright colors!

new Nerds chapstick :-) It honestly smells really good!

I made these Merry Christmas blocks for them when I was in elementary school, they put them out every year ♥

Little Oliver

Around dinner time, we made our way out to the country to spend the rest of the evening with my family.
We had some seriously yummy good ol' country cookin' and then played several games my aunt put together. Oh my, it was soooo much fun!!!!!!!

Hope you all had an amazing Christmas!!
