Getting ready for Kindergarten

As all of you know by now, Alexia is starting Kindergarten this year!! I am super excited and have been buying all kinds of stuff for her :-)

got this chair off of Craigslist for $5

repainted it..

added a cushion to it..

and covered it

Voila!

a new chair for school :-)

Got this desk off of Craigslist too for $20 :-)

used 3 coats of bonding primer (this was only the 1st)

and painted the same color as the chair.. I LOVE IT!!!!!!

at the moment, I am finishing it up with a few coats of this stuff... gives it a nice finish that is supposed to keep it from getting scratched, etc.. 

and I got these in from Amazon today to hold all her pencils, markers, folders, etc.. :-D

Got a huge box of books from Abeka, we are doing the live streaming video school.

tried a Pinterest pin and recovered an ugly cork board 

This is all the stuff for school so far :-) I can't wait to get it all set up!!!
