Strawberry Pretzel Squares

This is by far my favorite dessert to make... absolutely delicious!! It is very easy and it is almost always gone when I bring it somewhere. Hope you enjoy :-)


Here is what you will need to grab:
  3 cups pretzels, broken into small pieces
  2/3 cup melted butter
  1/2 cup suger, divided
  12 oz Philadelphia cream cheese, softened
  2 tbsp milk
  3/4 container cool whip
  1 pkg Strawberry jello
  2 cups boiling water
  1 1/2 cups cold water
  2 pt. Strawberries, cut up into bite size pieces

Here is what you do!

Step 1 - Stir boiling water into gelatin until dissolved. Stir in cold water. Refrigerate 1 1/2 hours or until slightly thickened...

Step 2 - Preheat oven to 350

Step 3 - Mix pretzels with 1/4 cup sugar and the butter. Press firmly into bottom of 13x9 pan. Bake 10 min. Cool.

Step 4 - Beat cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar and milk until smooth. Gently stir in cool whip. Spread over crust. Refrigerate

Mmmmmmm....

Step 5 - Cut your strawberries into bite size pieces... or ask your hubby to do it ;-) Actually, he asked to do it! ♥

They look soooo pretty!

Step 6 - Gather all 3 of your items (once the jello is slightly set)

Step 7 - Pour your jello over your pretzel and cream cheese mixture

Step 8 - Plop all your strawberries on top and look at your beautiful handiwork... Refrigerate for 3 hours before serving!

I love it from the side, so pretty!

When it's ready, get you a big ol' piece of it!
