I'll give you the recipe's and some picture tutorials just for fun :-)
Lysol Disinfectant Wipes.
These are expensive cleaning wipes that you just throw away when you are done, what a waste!
Here is what you need!
-1 roll good quality paper towels
-1/2 cup Lysol disinfectant concentrate cleaner
-2 1/2 cup water
-a container to store them in
Here is what you do!
Start by cutting your paper towel roll in half. I used a kitchen bread knife because that's all I had, but this would be so much easier with some kind of electric saw. It took like 5 min to cut these things!
You only need half, save the other half for next time :-)
I cut all the excess stuff hanging off and went ahead and cut out the center cardboard tube now instead of waiting until after it set.
Mix your cleaner and water in a bowl
And pour it in all over the roll.
Let it sit until it's all absorbed and you are ready to use them!!
They smell just the same and work just as good,
AND THEY ARE A WHOLE LOT CHEAPER!!
Dishwasher detergent
This really doesn't make a whole lot, but you only need a tiny bit per load. I quadrupled the recipe when I made it :-)
Here is what you need!
-1 cup Borax
-1 cup washing soda
-3 small packs of lemonade flavor kool-aid powder
-2 T salt
-a jar to store it in
Use 1 T per load
Here is what you do!
Dump everything into a large container, put the lid on it and shake. (be careful when you open it back up or you will be breathing it!)
It's as simple as that!
I bought some stickers to put on it just to make it look pretty.
I have already used it twice and it works just as good as store bought. I haven't noticed a difference at all,
AND IT'S A WHOLE LOT CHEAPER!!
Laundry detergent
This stuff is downright amazing! I haven't made it yet, because I like my clothes and towels smelling yummy and was afraid I wouldn't get that with this. The recipe doesn't call for any yummy smelling stuff, so I just picked up some super duper yummy smelling Purex Crystals. OH MY WORD!! This detergent actually smells better than what I was using!! I am hooked on this stuff and will never go back!
Here is what you need!
-1 4lb box washing soda
-1 4lb box baking soda
-1 4lb box borax
-3 bars ivory soap (the original, nothing fancy)
-1 container Purex Crystals (or whatever you choose to be your yummy smelling add in)
-a large jar to store it in
use 2 T per average size load (they say you only have to use that little because it doesn't have fillers in it like store bought does)
Here is what you do!
dump first 3 ingredients into a bucket
Cut the 3 bars of soap into little chunks
Use a chopper or food processor to grind the soap up.
I didn't have one, so I bought one while at Walmart...
Some people just use a cheese grater, but I didn't want big slivers of soap in mine
Dump it into the bucket and mix well (it took some strength and time, lol)
Dump in your Purex Crystals (or whatever you bought) and stir well again.
(I'm sure you can dump both in at one time, but I just wanted to take a picture of them separately)
Yay! It looks cool and smells amazing! Jimmy actually said it was so strong he was getting tired of the "clean" smell :-)
Dump it into a jar and you are good to go!!
I bought a smaller jar, so this is only half. If you do the same you will need some sort of bucket with a lid to store the rest of it in.
I have used it twice so far and and my clothes look just as clean,
AND IT'S A WHOLE LOT CHEAPER!!
I can already feel myself saving money and it feels great!!
:-D

Where did you get the stickers?
Good ol' Wally world :-D
Only thing is, the pack only comes with 1 small "s", so I had to get 2 packs just for the word dishwasher! Which is also why my Lysol Wipes are all in caps :-)
