New landscaping

I finally decided I was tired of not having a flower bed in front of our house. When we first moved in 5 1/2 years ago, there were tons of azaleas but we quickly tore them out! So, a few months back, we decided to go ahead and work on the landscaping.

Before... so plain and boring 

After!! I wanted river rocks, sooo that's what I got! As you can see, we didn't do a straight across line but a rounded in and out design!! (I still haven't finished filling it with plants and such, I'm still deciding :-)

We also put some river rocks in a round bed around our Japanese Maple :-)

as well as the space in front of the porch swing. 

(Yes, I know, our cushions need some help. I'm fixing to replace them)

our sago was getting tons of new growth!!!

My braided Hibiscus that Jimmy bought me :-)

(Lexi calls it the "hi-biscuits" tree, lol) 

My red amaryllis bulb that's not quite there yet! It's working on it :-)

And this is what the girls did while we worked on the yard!! :-D They had a blast!
