2 year check up

Makenna had her 2 year eye exam a few weeks ago. The kids did so good sitting in the waiting room and then in the exam room, I was extremely proud of them!

We had an appointment 6 weeks ago but she had just got her glasses back so we came back once she had worn them for a while to do another exam. She did better this time, but we were told that the vision in her bed eye had regressed and she had a strong aversion to using the bad eye. The doctor told us we needed to start patching again for another 6 weeks. I was a little bummed but realized it could be so much worse. We are patching everyday from the time she wakes up in the morning until nap time, about 6 hours or so. The doctor said 2 hours minimum but the longer, the better. We go back in 6 weeks and will do another exam and see if her eye is strengthened at all.

instead of ordering a box of 50 which had 4 designs (one of which I didn't like) I ordered 5 packs of  10 in 4 designs that were cute :-)

Our "Kenna pirate" is back for a while :-D 

She does so good with it and never tries to take it off. It's the first thing she asks for when she wakes up in the morning and is sad when she has to take it off when she goes to bed. 

We are SO proud of her!!
