Still busy!

Haha, I love the title. Yes, we are still busy and I am sitting down again while the kids are napping and catching up on some more blogging. In case you wonder why I post certain things that may not interest you, I am actually doing this because I  am hopefully one day going to be using a website and turning my whole blog into family books for the kids, so they can look back and see their childhood. I think it is a GREAT idea and am super excited about ordering my first book! :-D

Anyway! A few weeks ago, I took a brave step and went to Pensacola with all 3 of my kids by myself. You may think, "wow, she hasn't ever done that?" No.. No, I haven't. It went so much better than I had imagined and the kids were amazing! We went to Joann's to return some scrapbook paper I didn't end up using for Lexi's party and to buy some material for some more coolots  for the girls.

We had fun!!

a new bag. I am HOOKED on these totes from different stores, haha

material and a few art things for the girls

Alexia was in LOVE with this section I had never seen before! 18" baby dolls and TONS of outfits, hats, shoes, glasses, etc.

Jimmy said I could go back and get this one for her :-)
I can use my 40% off coupon and get a great deal!!

I drug them along to Ross when we got done to look for a dress. They seemed to have fun and I was happy because I found one!!!!

SWIMMING LESSONS BEGINS

Jimmy and I decided that for the summer, we would go ahead and start swimming lessons with the girls. We are using an online teaching course and we had our first lesson on June 1st. We wanted to do something fun that Saturday as a family but didn't want to drive far. So, we decided on going to my in laws pool, packing our lunches and starting our lessons. Brennan was napping almost the whole time we were there and had some of the not so nice symptoms of teething, so we didn't take him in. :-0

After we had our lessons, I made the sandwiches we had had packed and we sat outside by the pool and ate

putting on more sunscreen

Lexi is tall enough now to stand in the shallow end and does so amazing holding her breath and jumping in!!!

♥My favorite part about Summer ♥

MEMORIAL DAY 2013

Our church had their annual Memorial Day Picnic and we were able to go. I am so happy Jimmy was off work, I love doing things as a family ♥

yes, I did the annoying mom thing and went to Walmart and bought us all patriotic shirts, lol (they were out of Brennan's size, so I made his).
We have never had something like that and I figured we could use them again for 4th of July  :-)
For $3 a shirt, who could pass that up?!

the kids with their favorite girl ♥

Pastor Woody took all the kids on a ride in the back of his truck a few times. They LOVED it!!

After we left the picnic, we went over to my in laws and took a relaxing swim :-)
