Girls new room

Thank God for people who give you Home Depot gift cards for your birthday and Christmas! :-) We went out Friday night and bought the paint and a few other things for the girls bedroom!! YIPPIE!! I am so very excited to get working on their room. And, we still have $40 left for any extras we need or if we run into any problems :-) Here is what we bought:

The paint... The pink is for the walls and I am painting a small bookcase the purple..

new outlets and covers and a new light switch and cover... the electrical in her bedroom is in poor shape. When you plug something in, the outlet goes back in the wall.. EEK! Plus, her light switch hums when you turn it on or off. Gonna have to get it all checked out.

There is so much I want to do for their new room. Paint, buy Alexia a toddler bed, turn the day bed back into a crib for Kenna, replace the fan, replace the outlets and light switch, redo the letters for their name to match the decor, buy 2 toddler bed comforter sets (found one at TARGET that I absolutely adore), buy a new laundry basket, another shoe holder, move all of Kenna's clothes into the closet and dresser and rearrange it all... aaaaaand I think that is it, lol. I can't wait to finally get started! Lexi is going to be sleeping in the playpen in Kenna's room until I am done with their room, I have a feeling they are going to do well sleeping in the same room :-) I will keep you updated on my progress, as slow as it might be...
