*Warning! If you do like the sight of needles or blood, do not look at this post, lol...*
On bus visitation last Saturday we had to get gas... it was down to $3.19!
Of course this week, it was down to $3.09... its annoying to know after elections it will go right back up again :-/
Saturday afternoon I took a friend to the mall and we went Fathers day shopping. I told her I would take her anywhere she wanted for dinner and she chose Hungry Howies. Oh my goodness, I haven't been there in years and this ham and pineapple pizza was the best!!!!!
Sunday was Fathers Day :-)
got new sunglasses.. finally!!! My old ones were 10 years old and were cracking and breaking :-(
Monday was Brennan's 6 month checkup...
We went to the park after his appointment and also went Tuesday with the little girl next door :-)
Tuesday night I gave plasma for the first time!!! Loooong story.... I tried to give it months ago and couldn't, so I went back to the same place but they had already closed :-( I figured plasma was plasma, so I went to CSL Plasma on Davis Hwy... I got there at 6:45 and they close at 7:30. I asked if I had enough time for a first time donation and the lady said sure! Sooo, after the long process of the screening, the physical and the test, I was called back! It is such an easy process but it does take time... it took about an hour. Not that I minded in any way, shape or form, I was in no hurry. Jimmy was home with the kids, so I wasn't worried about them. By the time I was all done, I was the last person in there, the staff was cleaning all the machines and it was 9 :-0 Oh well, the lady said I could do it!! No one seemed to mind and the staff there is amazing. I have tried looking for ways to earn extra money for a while and tried giving plasma in January, but I couldn't. So, I figured now that I could, I would go! I think getting poked, the time it takes to drive over and having to get a babysitter is so worth it. Besides, I'm helping sick people at the same time as earning extra money! :-D
That makes me happy!!
Kenna has been doing so good with potty training!!! She cracks me up though with her color grouping :-D
And Friday, I got to give plasma again :-) This time I got a special pass. Since the first time takes so long, on your second visit you get to get in the front of the line :-) I got to get in front of about 15 people.. how cool is that?
