Living room remodel

We have done more work for our remodel!!! Here are a few pics of the progress...

getting ready to tear the wall down!!

yep, that wall

got the sheeting up so the house didn't get filled with sheet rock dust :-) Thank you dear

yes, my good company always welcome sigh is gone. It was $5 at Walmart, I can order another one if I need it :-)

Whoa, that's big!

NEXT WAS POURING THE CONCRETE A WEEK LATER

Jimmy had to mop the floor before they poured

I went to the park with some friends while the work was done so we weren't in the way, Jimmy took this pic:-)

almost time!

Our friend Jason came over to help Jimmy and our contractor, Nathan

There was a LOOOOOOT of smoothing going on!

So nice and shiny!

There was 6 1/2 hours of work involved in this process. It was cold outside and it was cloudy, so it took extra long to dry so Nathan could do the finishing touches. Thank you Nathan!!!!

This was later on that night when it was dry enough to walk on.

We had some left over concrete so we decided to do the kids' hand prints on a piece outside. It was Nathans idea to do it in the the shape of a triangle in the corner of the driveway and sidewalk. I love it!

I had so much trouble opening Brennan's fingers, so his looks more like a hole ion the concrete than a hand print, lol

Here is what it all looks like now...

Next is building up the laundry room wall!! YIPPIE!!!!!
